Lake Perris State Park I have only been here for day use, Entry is a little pricy at $8, but the wild flowers in the early spring is well worth it. There is also a rental stable there for group rides. You micheck to see if you could ride with you horses with friends on rentals. It is a very nice dry horse camp, they have water and porta pottys with many trails going in different directions. Some of it is climbing hills and some is flat riding near the lake. A nice place to ride for experienced and not so experienced riders.     The primitive Horse Camp is separate from the regular family camping.  With corrals, water troughs, picnic tables, campfire rings, drinking water and chemical toilets each of the 7 units will accommodate a maximum of 8 people and a maximum of three licensed vehicles with horse trailers.  Each site is allowed a maximum of (2) compatible horses per corral per s ite.  Each Camp site covers one (1) vehicle free and one legally towed vehicle.  Extra vehicles (up to the maximum) are $8.00 per day, each.  If you would like to reserve in advance there is a $6.75 non refundable reservation fee. For those that are on a limited budget the locals park at the fair grounds for free and ride up the dam to the park.    $21.00 per unit/night. 1-800-444-PARK (7275) (reserve America) 1-916-638-5883 http://www.reserveamerica.com/client/client_ca.jsp Location-Directions The recreation area is located 11 miles south of Riverside via Highway 60 or I 215.  17801 Lake Perris Drive Perris, California 92571 Latitude/Longitude: 33.8375 /-117.1400 Elevation:  1560 feet I have only a camp map, but think it is possible to ride all the way around the lake.
